The Central Instrumentalizer Vol 1 is a hand-picked selection of major highlights of Zappa’s astonishing yet accessible instrumental work drawing on material from albums throughout his mindbogglingly expansive career.

The link is not working for me, which is such a shame. I’m listening to Volume II right now and having a blast with it! It’s introducing me to a lot of Zappa’s work that I perhaps wouldn’t have gotten around to, and now I plan on buying more of his catalog. There are some interesting looking instrumentals that I haven’t heard on Volume I as well; is there any chance I could still get my hands on it?
Absolutely. Glad you are liking it. Stay tuned for a reupped Vol I.
Re-Upped version now available.
I’m sorry; it’s still not working for me. Am I supposed to be clicking an area besides the “Zappa: The Central Instrumentalizer” link? I apologize for the continued requests.
No problem at all. Hopefully I have fixed it now. Give it a try.
Yeah, it worked just fine! Thank you so much! This definitely adds to my Zappa appreciation, and there’s a whole slew of his albums on my to-buy list now.
Any chance you could reup the links for both volumes?
Thanks,
Try back in 30 mins or so and they’ll be back up there. Enjoy.
Just started listening. Thanks so much!

I want both of them again, please!!!
Thanks
Stay tuned Mauricio……
Wow! Many many thanks! I’m already listening 🙂
You’re very welcome.
I could dig into this list and I will. Good work.
Enjoy CB, dig in. Some special moments on there. Volume II coming soon.
Most people thought of Zappa as a sort of comedy act – he was overlooked when people thought of great guitarists. Zappa was one of the best guitar players in rock history – he even was an influence on Jimi Hendrix! Thanks for posting.
I agree with you blackwings. One of the greatest guitarists ever. So much more than just a comedy guy. A musical genius. Have you heard Black Napkins?
Yes I have – Zoot Allures is a great album.
